Directions
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, typically around 6–8 minutes until they are al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking, and once done, drain the noodles in a colander and set aside, allowing them to remain warm.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 pound of ground beef and 1 chopped onion. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking up the beef as it browns, until the meat is no longer pink and the onions have softened.
  3. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Allow the mixture to cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly until the garlic becomes fragrant.
  4. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of flour over the beef mixture, stirring well to incorporate it. Cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing the flour to develop a light golden color.
  5. Gradually pour in 2 cups of beef broth while stirring continuously to keep the mixture smooth. Scrape any browned bits off the bottom of the pan to maximize flavor.
  6. Reduce the heat to medium-low and let the gravy simmer for 5-10 minutes until it reaches your desired thickness.
  7. Add the drained egg noodles directly to the skillet containing the beef gravy mixture. Toss everything together gently for about 1-2 minutes.
